SEL for Teaching and Leading

This comprehensive course equips educators with essential knowledge and skills in Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Through ten (10) synchronous, virtual sessions, ten (10) practical assignments, and four (4) onsite visits at your school with an NEB facilitator, participants will explore key SEL concepts, trauma-informed practices, and cultural responsiveness. Participants will earn 70 professional development hours and will be eligible to add RIDE SEL endorsement to their teaching license.

Meet Your Facilitators
Stephanie joined NE Basecamp in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in curriculum design, instructional leadership, and multi-tiered systems of support. She holds a Master of Education in School Leadership and a Master of Science in Psychology, with certifications in elementary education, middle grades ELA, ESL, literacy, and K-12 administration. Before NE Basecamp, Stephanie worked as an instructional lead teacher, literacy coach, and district literacy specialist, with a background in studying evidence-based interventions in public health settings.
